We are excited to announce our new ‘Muslim Faith Kits’ project for people on mental health wards.

If you would like to request a kit(s) either as a mental health professional or individual*, please complete the form at the bottom of the page.
At MLXN, we believe no one should be denied the right to worship comfortably regardless of where they are, mentally or physically. From personal experience and our community, we know there’s work to be done to meet the spiritual needs of Muslims on inpatient mental health wards.

Being on an inpatient psychiatric ward whilst navigating difficult experiences such as hearing voices, feeling paranoid and confused, and seeing things that others don’t can be overwhelming and frightening. Faith is a source of healing and can bring relief during these times. That’s why we’ve created these kits.

Each kit contains:
📿 A Quran (English translation) 📖
📿 A book of duas (supplications) 🤲🏽
📿 A collapsible wudu jug (to perform ablution to prepare for prayer) 💧
📿 A prayer mat 🕌
📿 An electric tasbih/counter 📿
📿 Our details for further support 📧

The Majestic Quran is provided as part of our kits as a kind donation from Invitation Publishing. We encourage anyone who wishes to support their efforts to consider making a contribution at https://www.majesticquran.co.uk/donate/.

Muslim faith kits are available free of charge for anyone on an inpatient mental health ward in London who would like one. To request a kit for yourself, a family member/friend or someone you are professionally supporting, please complete the form below.

*Please note, Muslim Faith Kits are subject to availability. We ask that requests from NHS staff include a 'Named Link Worker' on the ward or Trust for which they are being requested. This is to ensure receipt of delivery and to gain feedback to improve future kits. If you are requesting the kit for yourself or a loved one on a ward, please kindly put 'personal request' in this section.
